lot has been written about the travails and triumphs of the economic
situation of Pakistan. Many cite the imminent collapse, while others
highlight the myriad opportunities. There are at least two viewpoints
about almost everything, especially in Pakistan. In the words of Robert
Frost, “In three words I can sum up everything I've learned about life:
it goes on.” So does Pakistan. Despite the spate of problems, despite a
people apparently hell bent on self destruction, and despite the often
turbulent environment, life and the economy continues to chug along in
